INTERVIEW WITH ICONIC ASBURY PHOTOGRAPHER ED NOUMAIR
The Gallery 13 (Shoppes at the Arcade, 658 Cookman Avenue, Suite 5) in Asbury Park will showcase “Aerial Asbury”, an exhibition of photography by 92 year old Asbury native Ed Noumair, during the entire month of November.
Large scale black & white photographs shot by Mr. Noumair from a single engine propeller plane decades ago reveal a historic view of Asbury’s famous boardwalk, parks, shoreline, and buildings & hotels that no longer exist.

In his first solo show NO MORE ASBURY PARK, photographer Eric Van’t Zelfden combines landscape and architectural photographs of Asbury Park, NJ circa 2005-2008, with recent portraiture featuring eleven people who saw the city for more than empty streets and abandoned buildings - but a space to create.
